Personally, I don’t know about this one. I watched the show when I was little, but don’t remember ever thinking, “oh, boy, if only they’d bring this to the big screen.” Turning these corny old shows into goofball comedies is all the rage these days and it’s worked — 21 Jump Street was pretty great and Baywatch looks like it could be fun, too. I generally dig Michael Peña, and Dax Shepard is okay sometimes. The movie looks like it has some good action, but man, what’s with all the homoerotic jokes already in the trailer? Hope they’ve got better jokes in the movie.
